First administrative meeting after quarter break

Hardware

  • Box is mostly complete; needs just a little more hardware
    • Auchter has requested an addition of another level
  • No progress on new frame until we have funds for motors and gearboxes
  • Will work on the camera boom mounting plate and boom itself -- Wednesday
  • CAD has seen progress; additional hardware and color added

Electronics

  • Killswitch is progressing nicely -- will have board made for the robot this week
  • Motor controller controllers done, need to be manufactured
  • Moved some components to the box; working on finishing that up
  • Picked a GPS to buy -- will be ordering that tonight or tomorrow
    • 3 m accuracy, unfortunately, but only $110
    • Can't use an RTK system because of communications restrictions, so not much to be gained by spending more.

Software

  • Added gain tuning features to GUI software, including graph of motor speed
  • Added Wiimote support to GUI
