All-team meeting 2010-01-31

Hardware

  • Mounted panel for Ethernet wall plate and power socket
  • Temporary mount for the camera
  • Worked on steadycam design

Electronics

  • Have created a board for the Killswitch remote and selected a case (need to order it this week)
  • More cabling, etc

Software

  • Got the camera calibrated, albeit with high error. Will be redoing that in the coming week.
  • Wrote a Wiimote daemon to get connecting to the Wiimote out of the main thread, now need to write a client
  • Tried to diagnose Wiimote issues
    • Our adapter works fine in another computer
    • Using different adapter in our computer still have problems
  • Some small GUI tweaks
  • Have a Matlab prototype of vision algorithm, will be adding texture to it today.

Misc

  • IGVC registration is due soon
    • Need to figure out who'll be there
    • Need to pick a name for the robot
